Polkadoodles (wk34) Anything goes / Something beginning with F .

Hello there this week im back to launch our new challenge over at polkadoodles challenge blog theme this week is anything goes / Something beginning with F.

So with that my F's had to be Flowers, Frugal, Fancy.

Frugal because i had left over sentiment from the work and play 10 collection and some Rosebud papers from another project so i thought it would be perfect to fit in with theme F.

You really should check out Rose budd download collection it has masses of papers and yummy digital images definitely a timeless collection and if you love the outdoor things work and play 10 collection country life would be perfect for you.

Flowers because i love using flowers and i had a beautiful die which was perfect for this occasion.

Frame
Could not resist this mini wooden frame.

Fancy as i added lace and some really Fancy leaves.

So on to my make

Polkadoodles (wk -33) Anything goes / Add Texture inspiration

Hi all today im back with polkadoodles challenge blog for our anything goes / add texture challenge .

I had lots of fun on my make this week by first of all playing with my Ganasi Tambis again, they work so well along side polkadoodles made easy summertime clear stamps.

I stamped them onto water colour paper painted them then cut them out once dried, for my background paper i used water colour paper again and my piece of packaging acetate and smooshed away.

Once dried i used an embossing folder to add my first texture i then layered up Hessian and lace for another 2 textures, I added die cut squares and added cheese cloth for another texture.

I added my fussy cut flowers and entwined fancy fibres and Hessian string and Twine and die cuts for my final pieces of textures.

So here is my card :

Polkadoodles (wk - 29) Summertime inspiration

Hi everyone today I'm back with a Summertime inspiration post for the awesome polkadoodles.

Today I set myself a challenge to have a dabble at watercolouring using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints, But then I thought how about doing it without a brush !! , So there I was with a piece of acetate from an old piece of packaging nothing fancy like.

So this is my result it looks like a bit of a mess in my eyes as im  a very controlled crafter, but my 8 year old daughter said go with it mum I like it .. so it made it on a card.

I suppose we have to start somewhere! !

I used a combination of digital images from the summertime collection and created my own scene with them in my own graphics programme.

So onto my card
